Sarah Hitchcock Burzio
President / Owner
I studied Theater at Florida State University and moved to Washington, DC after graduation, where I worked at various theater companies in production management, guest artist services, audience services, and event management. I realized I had a desire to be visually creative and wanted to put that to good use. That's when Hitchcock Creative began.
After several years of designing part time, I decided to turn the company into a full time endeavor. It was the best decision I ever made. I now have the opportunity to work with theaters, museums, and performing arts organizations on a daily bases, and use not only my knowledge of design, but of their company needs, to help produce an outcome that is high quality and within budget.
In 2018 I expanded the business to include a brick-and-mortar stationery shop in historic Occoquan, Virginia. Hitchcock Paper Co. has quickly become a local favorite for unique greeting cards, journals, stationery, calligraphy supplies, and more.
